Fine Press edition of 4 ELEGY poems by Derleth

Limited to 50 copies

The Elegy poems are among the most touching, haunting and hardest to find books by August Derleth.  ELEGY : ON AN UMBRAL MOON for Matilda Marie Kitch and ELEGY: ON A FLAKE OF SNOW for Zona Gale were printed in editions of 150 and 200 respectively.  These were given out to the friends and families of the deceased.  There were also at least 2 other Elegy poems written by Derleth, ELEGY: GOPHER PRAIRIE for Sinclair Lewis and ELEGY: IN PROVIDENCE THE SPRING... for H.P. Lovecraft.

I have done a fine press reissue of these 4 Elegy poems on handmade paper with letterpress covers and hand sewing.  They are 24 pages and include a postscript by Kay Price sharing some valuable insight into these poems.  Each copy is numbered 1 to 45 in a total edition of only 50.  The last 5 are lettered A-E and are not for sale.  Copies sell for $25.00 Plus $4.50 shipping.
